ABBOTTABAD, April 3: One person was killed and another received injuries in a road accident here on Thursday.
Witnesses told Dawn that Dr Iftikhar Ali, a professor at the Comsats Institute of Information Technology, Abbottabad, was travelling in his car when it crashed into another vehicle coming from opposite direction at Mandian on Karakorum Highway. Dr Ali was killed on the spot while his driver, Anwer Khan, was rushed to Abbo-tt abad Medical Complex in a critical condition.—Correspondent
