DHAKA, May 7: Bangladesh has banned exports of non-aromatic rice for six months to secure domestic supplies, the government said on Wednesday. The ban came into effect from Tuesday. “Exports of all types of rice except aromatic varieties, including Kalijira, Chinigura, Badhshabhog, ..., have been banned,” the government said in a statement.—Reuters
