KHAIRPUR, May 24: A man was killed and three other people, including son and grandson of PML-N Sindh President Syed Ghous Ali Shah were injured in a road accident on National Highway near Saeedabad, on Saturday.

Reports said that Dr Ali Hyder Shah, the eldest son of Mr Ghous Ali Shah was going in a car from his native town Garhi Mori in taluka Khairpur to Karachi on Saturday to attend the funeral of PML-N Sindh vice-president, Tariq Khan, who was killed in Karachi on Friday.

On national highway his car collided with a passenger bus as a result of which the car driver Rab Nawaz Memon died on the spot while Ali Hyder Shah received serious injuries. He was taken to a private hospital in Karachi.

Osama, son of Dr Ali Hyder Shah and their bodyguard Mohammad Idrees also received minor injuries.

The body of driver Rab Nawaz was sent to his native village Garhi Mori.
