KOHAT, May 26: The druggists association of Kohat has announced to stop medicine supplies to Parachinar in protest against the hijacking of their vehicle and two persons by armed men in Sadda bazaar.

While chairing a meeting here on Monday, president of the association, Basit said that the hijackers also took away Rs400,000 with them. He appealed to the medicine suppliers of Peshawar to support their boycott and demanded immediate release of the kidnapped persons.

The meeting urged the political agent Zaheerul Islam and NWFP Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani to take action against criminals and kidnappers who were active on the Kohat-Parachinar road, and to provide security to druggists.— Correspondent
