DUBLIN, May 26: Worldwide victims of cluster bombs appealed on Monday to treaty negotiators from 110 countries to ban the weapons system at negotiations expected to conclude in Dublin this week.
Survivors of explosions in Cambodia, Lebanon, Serbia and Vietnam told a news conference in Dublin that the world’s chief producers of cluster bombs should be pressed to accept the outcome of negotiations in the Irish capital this week.—AP
