Hyderabad Open tennis from 11th

KARACHI, May 31: The Hyderabad Open Tennis Championship which is part of the STA Development Series will be played at Hyderabad Gymkhana from June 11 to 16.

According to an announcement, the events that are due to take place include men’s singles, ladies singles, juniors’ under-17 singles, boys’ under-15 singles, boys under-13 singles, boys under-11 singles, men’s doubles and seniors 40 plus doubles.

Players who are interested to compete in the event have been asked to send their entries to Shabbir Gul, secretary, Hyderabad Tennis Association, latest by June 9.

All outstation players will be provided accommodation and a daily allowance of Rs200 until elimination.

The STA Development Series was launched two years back by the Sindh Tennis Association under which it share the organiser’s burden by providing trophies and balls in addition to meeting the expenses of the finals hi-tea.

Two events of the STA Development Series took place in Karachi and one at Mirpurkhas since its launch.
