KUNRI, June 3: A record decline in price of red chillies was witnessed here due to import of the commodity from India.
Market rates suggested price of red chilli had dropped to Rs5,000 per 40kg.
President of Chilli Market Association, Kunri, Haji Abdullah Memon, said that the downward trend was witnessed due to large-scale import of Indian chillies. The imported chilli is being sold at Rs3,600 to Rs3,700 per 40kg.—PPI
