ISLAMABAD, June 4: Former MNA M.P. Bhandara, who was seriously injured in a car accident in China, is recovering in a local hospital.

Mr Bhandara, who was a PML-Q legislator on a minority seat, broke a leg and the wrist in the accident on April 23 and was flown back to the country and admitted to Shifa Hospital on May 7.“I was in the car with my Chinese friends when a bus coming from the opposite direction hit my car,” Mr Bhandara told Dawn on phone on Wednesday.

The 70-year-old politician said he was fast recovering and doctors had told him that he would be discharged in a couple of weeks.
