KOHAT June 8: The eight officials of political administration kidnapped from their houses in Darra Adamkhel are hesitant to disclose the identity of their abductors since their release late Saturday night.

The Khasadars were picked up by unidentified militants from their houses in Tor Chappar and Sheraki areas of the frontier region of Kohat, Darra Adamkhel on late Friday night.

The Khasadars were allegedly involved in releasing some robbers captured and handed over to them by the local tribesmen. The robbers were later arrested by Taliban during an operation.

According to their colleagues, the released officials of political administration were tight lipped and hesitant to disclose the identity of their kidnappers.

The Khasadars identified as Jalil, Yar Ali, Aurangzeb, Noor Salam and Mas Ali from Tor Chappar and Mohib Ali and Noor Sher of Sheraki reached their homes on Saturday night safely. But they did not utter a single word about the kidnappers since their release.

They refused to speak to their senior officials about the motive behind their kidnappings.

The spokesman of local Taliban when contacted said that they had not kidnapped Khasadars and they should be asked who abducted and released them.
