MBABANE, June 8: Swaziland served up a major upset in the African World Cup qualifiers on Sunday, beating 2006 finalists Togo 2-1 on home soil at Somhlolo.
It was the first game of the 2010 qualifying campaign for the small southern African kingdom, which last won a World Cup qualifier in October, 1992.
South African-based striker Siza Dlamini gave them the lead 10 minutes into the second half and Collen Salelwako added a second 18 minutes from the end.—Reuters
