Rugby squad announced

LAHORE, June 8: Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU) has announced a 24-member squad for the four-nation Asian Rugby Series Division II to be held in Bangkok from June 11.

The squad leaves for Bangkok on Monday.

Rambo Lueng, an international coach from Hong Kong with Rizwan Malik as manager is accompanying the team.

The other teams contesting in Division II are India, Malaysia, and hosts Thailand.

Squad: Ikram Butt (captain), Aftab Ashraf, Taimur Zia, Khurram Haroon, Zubair Shaffi, Salman Wain, Shakeel Ahmed, Ahmed Mumtaz, Omar Shafqat, Khurram Aziz, Rehan Manzoor, Mohammad Ali, Sair Riaz, Mohammad Babar, Umer Usman, Junaid Malik, Usman Malik, Mohammad Mannan Naseem, Umer Islam, Khalid Bhatti, Naeem Tahir, Amraz Hameed, Fouzan Majeed Wain, Anwarul Haq.
