THATTA: Woman bandit arrested

THATTA, June 10: The Thatta police have arrested a woman bandit from the Bao Poorandas forest.

Hyderabad region DIG Dr Sanaullah Abbasi and Thatta DPO Naeem Shaikh told journalists here on Tuesday that the police had arrested woman dacoit Hurmat alias Juma Khan Khaskheli, who operated in police uniform and man’s dress.

The DIG said that she was the first woman dacoit in the history of Sindh.

He claimed that Hurmat Khaskheli was a member of the gang of Adloo Soomro and involved in a number of dacoities and kidnapping.

The police have nominated her in the kidnapping of two labourers, Abid Punjabi and Manthar Brohi.
