NEW DELHI, June 10: Bharat-iya Janata Party leader L. K. Advani has regretted the release of a controversial book on Shaheed Benazir Bhutto authored by London-based journalist Shyam Bhatia and said that its contents will disturb anyone who knew the former prime minister.

According to a BJP spokesperson Mr Advani said: “I regret having attended the function. Had I read the contents of the book, I would not have gone for the book launch.” He conveyed these views to PPP spokesman Farhatullah Babar when the latter called him and objected the release of the book, “Goodbye Shehzadi”, last month.—APP
