Swimming trials on Saturday

KARACHI, June 18: Trials to select 15-member Sindh junior team to participate in the third All-Pakistan NWFP Governors Gold Cup swimming championship (boys) will be held at Habib Public School’s pool on Saturday at 4pm, the Sindh Swimming Association (SSA) announced on Wednesday.

The championship will be held from July 5 to 7 in Peshawar.

The trials will be conducted in free, breast, back, butter, and individual medley in under 12, 14 and 16 age categories.

Selected swimmers will attend a training camp from Monday.

Boys interested to attend the trials have been advised to contact SSA secretary Mohammad Ali Shishmahal on cell no. 0333-2270796.—Agencies
