MINGORA, July 3: Another girls’ school was set on fire by the militants and two bombs were defused by police in upper Swat district on Thursday.

Kabal police said the government middle school Kalu Dagai was torched by the militants in the small hours of Thursday. The building and record of the school was destroyed completely.

Meanwhile, Matta police recovered a five kilograms bomb planted on the Matta road near Sambot area on Thursday. The bomb disposal squad defused the bomb.

Another bomb of 15 kilograms was defused by Charbagh police on Thursday near the road in Kot area.
