PML-N man wins PP-121 by-poll

SIALKOT, July 5: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Rana Iqbal Harnah won the by-election to PP-121 (Sialkot-I) on Saturday.

According to unofficial results, Harnah secured 35,805 votes against Pakistan People’s Party-backed independent candidate Chaudhry Sagheer Sultan’s 17,505 votes. Another candidate in the run, Khush Akhtar Subhani, secured 19,596 votes.

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid candidate Ajmal Cheema boycotted the election a day before the polling.
