HYDERABAD: Tyre shops gutted

HYDERABAD, July 8: Around 10 old tyres shops were burnt in Liaquat Market off Tulsi Das Road here on Tuesday.

The cause of fire couldn’t be ascertained. Fire broke out suddenly outside Rehman Tyre Centre and engulfed around nine adjacent shops.

President Market Association Khalid Noor said the actual cause couldn’t be known but shops of Rehman Tyre Centre have been completely burnt, while others partially, but all would be re-constructed. He said new and old tyres were traded here.

Fire tenders from Market and Latifabad rushed to the spot and controlled it. No casualty was reported.
