THATTA, July 13: A woman and her two minor children were killed and seven other people were injured, three of them critically, when a car collided head-on with a van near Gharo on the National Highway on Sunday.

The deceased were in the car were identified as Rani, 45, wife of Ahsan; her five-year-old daughter Afshan; and six-year-old son Shaharyar, residents of the Cantt area in Karachi.

Those injured, whose names could not be ascertained, were travelling in the van.—BoC
