NAWABSHAH, July 14: Nawabshah Railway police on Monday found a woman who had been kidnapped from Tando Adam.

ASI Gulfam Ali told Dawn that police found an unconscious woman outside the Waiting Room of Nawabshah Railway Station. She was taken to the NMC Hospital where after gaining consciousness she told her name as Gul Bibi d/o Ali Mohammed, he said adding that Gul Bibi and her niece 12-year-old Zubeida had been kidnapped from Tando Adam some 15 days back.

Talking to reporters in the hospital, Gul Bibi alleged that she and her niece Zubeida were kidnapped by Yaqoob, Abdul Rehman, Ghaffar, Hanif and others at gunpoint.

Gul Bibi said that the kidnappers had kept her in subconscious condition and physically abused her.

Her parents Ali Mohammed and Zuleikhan and a sister reached the hospital and told journalists that they had informed the Tando Adam police about Gul Bibi’s recovery, while Zubeida was still missing.

They demanded of the higher authorities to take notice of it and direct police to recover Zubeida and arrest culprits.
