HYDERABAD, July 16: Hesco officials have been directed to disconnect power supply to defaulting government establishments and restore only after the dues are cleared.

Hesco Chief Executive Offi-cer, Guftar Ahmed Anjum, issued these instructions during a briefing by the officials over recovery position.

CEO expressed satisfaction over recovery position of Opera-tion Circle-1 Hyderabad and Sukkur Circle during June and urged other circles to follow in their footsteps for target achievements.Regarding wrong billing, he strictly forbade the officials of irking consumers and also told them to implement steadfastly, the six-hour load-management schedule in urban and of eight-hour in rural areas.

It was decided during a recent meeting with Sindh government officials that supply to all erring departments will be disconnected and restored once the dues were cleared, he said.

The CEO instructed the technical staff to improve voltage while persuading defaulters to take advantage of the concessional package by paying only 50 per cent dues if power was disconnected five years back - for the remaining amount will be waived.

The University of Sindh has announced schedule for admissions to class XI in pre-engineering and pre-medical groups at Dr N.A. Baloch Model School, University of Sindh Hyderabad.

Interested candidates are advised to obtain registration forms from the school as August 4, has been fixed as the last date for submission of forms.

Written test and interviews will be held on August 7, while list of successful candidates will be notified on August 11.

Successful candidates will be allowed to deposit admission fee up to August 20 with regular classes to commence from August 22.

CSS CLASSES: The University of Sindh has announced that forms for admission in CSS/PCS coaching classes for new session will be issued from July 25.
