Junior squash

LAHORE, May 4: The two-day qualifying rounds of the national junior  squash championships for boys and girls started at the Punjab Squash Complex courts Saturday.

In all, 122 boys participated in the preliminary round from all over Pakistan.

On the opening day, a heavy schedule of 108 matches was completed.  The players played two  matches  each  while  some players got byes.

The competition is being held in Under-13, Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 age catergories.

The main round will begin from May 6 and the finals will be played on May 9.
