KPT outclass Pakistan Steel

KARACHI, July 27: Karachi Port Trust (KPT) outclassed Pakistan Steel 4-1 in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) match played at the Quaid-i-Azam Sports Complex at Pakistan Steel Township on Sunday evening.

KPT’s striker Zahid Hussain, a major contributor in his side’s win, scored two goals, his first coming in the fifth minute and the second in the 65th. Skipper Naseer Ahmed (39th minute) and winger Abdul Rehman (48th minute) chipped in with one each in between.

For the losing outfit, their winger Mohammad Akmal scored in the 90th minute.

Monday’s fixture: Afghan Football Club v Wapda at Govt High School, Chaman at 5.30pm.
