U-14 basketball postponed

KARACHI, July 30: The Karachi City District Amateur Basketball Association (KCDABA) has postponed the under-14 basketball tournament due to rains in the city.

Meanwhile, Danish steered Arambagh Club to an exciting 62-55 victory over Karachi Colts after trailing 22-29 at half time on Monday night.

He top scored with 30 points which include three three-pointers in the post interval period which changed the complexion of the match. Arsalan (15) and Ali Raza (8) were the other scorers.

Though Obaid Liaquat also matched Danish’s score including two three pointers, he failed to save his team from defeat. Munibul Hasan scored 11.

In earlier matches, National Club chalked up 37-30 victory over Karachi Colts while Civil Club got the better of Arambagh Club 22-18.
