KARACHI, Aug 1: Five ships carrying general cargo, coal and to load ethanol are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships including Lucky Arrow to load cement and Golden Oceania to load molasses, Tower Bridge, Oel Transworld, Tenth Ocean and Hyundai Emperor with containers were berthed after the departure of three.

The departing ships were led by Hansa Liberty, APL Shenzhen and Cape Negro, while Tower Bridge, Golden Oceania, Harmony, Hyundai Emperor, Lucky Arrow and Nordina-G are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 101,000 tons comprising 31,432 tons of export cargo and 69,703 tons of import tonnage was handled on Friday.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Hawaian Star, Prem Divya with crude oil, Eltanin with coal and Hyderabad with general cargo.
