National trials

LAHORE, Aug 1: Two-day national open trials for the selection of the Pakistan contingent for the Sept 23-25 South Asian junior and youth athletics championship in Pune, India, will be held here at the Punjab Stadium from Aug 6-7.

The trials will be organised by the Punjab chapter of the Athletics Federation of Pakistan under the IAAF rules.

Trials for boys will be held in shot put, 110m hurdles, 1,500m, high jump, 800m, javelin throw, 100m, 400m, long jump and 200m.

For girls, there will be trials in discus throw, 100m hurdles, 800m, javelin throw, high jump, 100m, 400m, long jump and 200m.
