GUJRAT, Aug 13: The University of Gujrat on Wednesday announced the results of BA/BSc/B.Com Part II, annual examination.

Controller Examination Saleem Kundi said 271 out of 444 candidates cleared the BSc examination showing a pass percentage of 61.03.

Qasim Raza (roll No 21327) of Zamindar College, Bhimbher Road, clinched the first position while Ayesha Arshad and Madeeha Zameer of College for Women, Marghazar Colony, secured second and third slots with 621 and 818 marks, respectively.

At least 4,011 candidates appeared in the BA examination out of which 1,073 succeeded.

Naveed Khursheed, a private candidate from Gujranwala, bagged the first position by obtaining 576 marks. While Sameera Nazir of College for Women, Marghazar College, got the second position with 565 marks and Sidra Mukhtar of College for Women, Fawwara Chowk, secured the third position with 556 marks.

In B.Com examination, Rafia Noreen stood first by getting 1120 marks. The supplementary examination will start from Oct 11. —Correspondent
