KARACHI, Aug 15: Thirteen teams have confirmed their participation in the Tanveer Dar Memorial Inter-school Hockey Tournament to commence here at the Hockey Club of Pakistan (HCP) Stadium from Aug 20.

This was announced by Olympian Hasan Sardar, chairman of the organising committee, on Friday. Draws for the tournament, being held under the auspices of Nawab Ali XI Hockey Club in collaboration with EDO Education CDGK, will be announced on August 18. All participating schools are advised to collect their draws from organising secretary Qadeer Ahmed at the HCP.

The participating schools: City District Govt School Azeem Pura; Ghulaman-e-Abbas School; Shah Abdul Latif School (Steel Town); Farabi Govt Boys Secondary School; CAA Model Public School No 2, Airport; City District Govt School SITE Town; Federal Govt Public School Karachi Cantt; Army Public School (COD); BVS Parsi High School Saddar; Qamar-e-Bin Hashim School Malir; City District Govt Jamshed Khan School; Govt Model High School Mirpur Khas; The City School Prep Boys PECHS.—Agencies
