Injuries hit England duo

LONDON, Aug 17: England have been hit by injury worries leading into next week’s one-day series with South Africa.

Nottinghamshire left-arm seam bowler Ryan Sidebottom has been ruled out of Wednesday’s Twenty20 International at Chester-le-Street with a hip problem, while Chris Tremlett is also suffering with a heel injury.

Sidebottom has not travelled with the squad to Edinburgh for Monday’s One-day International with Scotland and will have a fitness check at Loughborough on Tuesday.
