Pentangular Snooker from tomorrow

KARACHI, Aug 18: The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) has decided to field two outfits in the three-day 6-ball Pentangular Snooker Series which gets into action at the Karachi Club from Wednesday.

Other nations which will be vying for honours are India, Thailand, UAE and Bahrain.

According to information made available here on Monday night, a three-member Indian squad has already arrived in the city. It consists of Pankaj Advani, Yasin Merchant and Manan Chandra.

The remaining three teams are due to reach here on Tuesday for the event which has been sponsored by an insurance firm.

The PBSA will announce the two squads and other relevant details at a press conference at Karachi Club on Tuesday.
