Mohammad Rashid, a farmer, was shot dead by a man and his two sons over a petty issue in Dhamial village.

Police said Rashid’s cow was grazing in the fields which annoyed Mohammad Nazir. Later, Nazir along with his two sons – Mohammad Rafiq and Mohammad Nazakat – came there and allegedly shot at and injured Rashid. He died in hospital.

Meanwhile, Shafiq Ahmed’s car was stolen from New Town, Arshad Mehmood’s motorcycle from R.A. Bazaar, Amir Pervez’s car from Civil Lines, while cars owned by Imran Bashir and Muneeb Akhtar were taken away from Saddar.

The complainant said the robbers snatched Rs210,000 and gold jewellery from his family. Later, they went to the ground floor where Naeem’s brother was residing. Naeem said the robbers snatched Rs150,000 and gold jewellery from his brother’s family.
