PESHAWAR, Sept 13: A joint delegation of the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Unicef, led by their country representatives, called on NWFP Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani here on Saturday.

They exchanged views on the role and services being extended by both organisations for ensuring better healthcare service in the province as well as Fata with special reference to the polio eradication campaign.

The delegation was led by Dr Khalif Bille Mohamad and Martin Magwanga. They highlighted their programmes, chalked out for polio eradication campaigns, said a handout.

Speaking on the occasion, the governor appreciated the role and services being extended by both organisations for further cementing the ongoing efforts of the government towards ensuring better healthcare facilities for the people of the province as well as the Fata. He assured the officials every possible support to make the polio eradication campaigns a success story.
