Two arrested, hashish seized

QUETTA, Sept 13: Balochistan’s Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled on Saturday an attempt to smuggle a big quantity of hashish from Afghanistan and arrested two alleged drug traffickers.

According to sources, the ANF personnel intercepted a truck coming from the border town of Chaman on the National Highway.

During search, 714 kg of fine quality hashish, which was stuffed in hidden cavities of the vehicle, was recovered. The ANF officials also seized the truck. The price of hashish in the international market is estimated to be around Rs298 million.
