KARACHI, Sept 15: Tow container vessels were accommodated berths on Sunday, said a PQA press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, two more ships carrying wheat and coal also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Seven ships, Maersk Novazzano, Energy Falcon, Melpomeni, Med Salvador, Clipper Trinidad, Vema Ocean and Hellenic Horizon, were busy in loading and unloading containers, clinker, wheat, rapeseeds, palm oil, furnace oil and iron ore.A cargo volume of 72,547 tons comprising 59,974 tons of import and 12,573 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Rosa-M, Hellenic Horizon, Clipper Trinidad and Vema Ocean sailed out while Maersk Novazzano and Melpomeni were expected to depart.
