HYDERABAD, Sept 16: Sindhi Adabi Board vice-chairman Shaikh Aziz has announced that the board will publish the writings of Moulana Girami in two volumes.

He was speaking at a commemorative meeting to mark the 32nd death anniversary of renowned scholar and former editor of the board’s quarterly “Mehran”, Moulana Ghulam Mohammad Girami.

Paying tribute to the late scholar for his services in the promotion of Sindhi language and literature, Mr Aziz, Professor Syed Zawar Hussain Naqvi, Nafees Ahmed and others said that Sindh was beholden to Moulana Girami for his services.

They said that he was a great asset for Sindh and his services can never be forgotten.

Later, employees of the board visited the grave of Moulana Girami, laid a wreath and offered Fateha.
