CHITRAL, May 8: The general body meeting of the Itehadul Ulama Pakistan, Chitral, chaired by former MPA Maulana Ghulam Mohammad the other day, demanded of the government to take notice of the supply of substandard wheat to Chitral by the food department.

The resolution said it was a sheer injustice with the poor people of Chitral that stones, pebbles, insects, etc., were provided to them in the name of wheat.

The meeting, through the resolution, also demanded of the government to commence work on the Lowari tunnel forthwith instead of making mere announcements.
