HYDERABAD, Sept 26: Al Quds Day was observed accorss Sindh on Friday to condemn Israel’s brutal occupation of Baitul Maqaddas, one of the holiest sites of Islam.

The Shia Ulema Council Hyderabad on the call of the chief of the Millat-i-Jafria Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, took out a procession from Qadamgah Moula Ali, which terminated at Hyder chowk.

The procession was led by Nizamul Hyderi, Syed Rashid Ali Rizvi, Qasim Hussain Jafri and other Shia leaders. Leaders of other religious and political parties including JI leaders, Moulana Abdul Waheed Qureshi and Shaikh Shoukat Ali; JUI-F leaders, Moulana Taj Mohammad Nahiyoon and Azam Jehangiri and others also joined the protest rally to express solidarity with the people of Palestine. A message of Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi was also read out.

The protesters raised slogans against the USA, Israel and other western countries. They also raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad, Shia-Sunni bhai bhai and condemned bomb blasts in various parts of Pakistan.

In Mirpurkhas, the Jafria Students Organisation took out a procession from Railway station chowk to mark the Al Quds Day. Protesters led by Allama Abid Raza Irfani and Sohail Raza Ghori, carried banners and placards marched through various thoroughfares. Among other Kameel Hassan, Najaf Ali Baloch, Haji Sawan and Sajid Ali also spoke.

In Jacobabad, All Pakistan Shia Action Committee took out a rally led by Syed Nazar Abbas, Ehsan Ali Shah and Bandeh Ali Jaffri.
