HYDERABAD: Eid gifts distributed

HYDERABAD, Oct 3: District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil on the eve of Eidul Fitr distributed Eid gifts among the poor at Darul Atfaal, which is being run by the social welfare wing of the community development department.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the disabled persons and poor children also had the right to celebrate Eid and it was the duty of the philanthropists to give a sense of participation to the destitute and the children on the auspicious occasion of Eid.

Mr Jamil announced a grant for the provision of hearing aids for 10 children and distributed clothes, ration and other gifts among the destitute.—Bureau
