RAWALPINDI, Oct 4: An anti terrorist court will resume hearing in the Benazir Bhutto murder case here on October 11.
The prosecution failed to produce the accused in the court on September 6 due to security reasons. Former prime minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairperson Benazir Bhutto was killed in a suicide gun-and-bomb attack outside Liaquat Bagh on December 27 last year.
A joint investigation team probing the assassination had arrested five suspects –Aitzaz Shah, Sher Zaman, Rafaqat, Hasnain Gul and Mufti Abdur Rashid.
ATC Judge Chaudhry Habibur Rehman will also resume hearings in the R.A. Bazaar and Civil Lines suicide cases on October 11. — APP
