AH Securities report losses

KARACHI, Oct 24: Arif Habib Securities has reported a loss-after-tax of Rs269.903 million for the first quarter of 2008 due to steep fall in stock market.

However, AH Securities posted a profit-before-tax at Rs371.588 million for the period ending Sept 30, 2008.

According to financial results of the company despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) here on Friday, the earning per share was a negative 90 paisa during the period under review.—APP
