Abdul Ahad wins cycle race

SAHIWAL, Oct 24: Abdul Ahad of Wapda won the hundred-mile National cycle race held between Lahore and Sahiwal on Thursday.

The All Pakistan Cycle Federation organised the event in which 60 cyclists from the four provinces, Fata, Wapda, Army, Railway and Sui Gas took part.

The race started from Lahore at 09:30 in the morning and terminated at View Hotel here around 1:30pm.

Abdul Ahad covered the distance in four hours, 11 minutes and 11 seconds.—Sports Correspondent
