KARACHI, Oct 25: Three ships carrying edible oil and wheat arrived at the outer anchorage, while one vessel with chemicals was accommodated berth during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday.

Six ships, Vancouver-II, Beluga Indication, RM Power, Transport, Qem Star and Shaffi, were occupying berths to load/offload cement, project cargo, wheat, chemicals and iron ore.

Cargo throughput was slow as only 20,110 tons of import and 3,648 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Beluga Indication sailed out while Qem Star was expected to leave the port.
