HYDERABAD, Oct 29: An aggrieved woman has appealed to authorities to provide protection to her, her husband and in-laws from her ex-husband who was trying to spoil her established family life.

Speaking at a news conference at the press club here on Wednesday, Ms Salma, wife of Abbas Rind, said that her ex Mohammad Arif Arain with whom she had four children her ex-husband Arif Arian lodged a false case at Bulri Shah Karim police station accused her second husband and his brothers of kidnapping her and the children.

She said that Arain had divorced her in the presence of witnesses on March 3, 2008 and thrown her and her children out of the house. She had married with him 10 years ago.

After divorce and completing her “Iddat” period at her aunt’s house she had Abbas Ali Rind according to Islamic laws. “My second husband not only accepted me but also my children with open heart and I am living a very happy life with him,” she said.

She said that after registration of the FIR she along with her children had to appear before police who produced her before the civil judge and judicial magistrate of Tando Mohammad Khan. The judge recorded her statement under section 164 CrPC and allowed her to live with her second husband.

She said that her felt danger to the lives her second husband and in-laws and appealed to authorities for protection. She also distributed copies of divorce papers among the newsmen.
