KARACHI, Oct 29: Pakistan’s Saleh Mohammad recovered from a 0-2 deficit to defeat Iceland’s Juha Erkinmikko in the IBSF World snooker championship in Wels, Austria.
According to the message received here on Wednesday, Saleh pulled the next two frames after losing the first two. He, however, lost the next frame to concede a 2-3 lead to his opponent.
The Pakistani did not give up the fight and won the sixth and seventh frames to notch up a
42-63, 0-73, 59-22, 62-22, 0-85,
55-43, 79-0 win.
Another Pakistani, Khurram Agha, maintained his impressive form when he outclassed Yan Kunis of Israel 4-1.
Khurram dropped the penultimate frame in his 68-31, 57-14, 72-3, 4-66, 62-48 victory.—APP
