Apropos a Rawalpindi datelined news item, headed “SHO’s comments sought in negligence case: doctor’s arrest warrant issued”, published in our issue of Sept 28, 2008, Dr Saleem Ahmed contends that only summons were issued in the case and not arrest warrants. Dawn retracts the mention of arrest warrants. Since the process was being effected through the SHO, the reporter may have mistaken the summons for warrants.—Editor
