NAWABSHAH, May 10: Six persons were booked here on Thursday for their alleged involvement in water theft.

According to details, Mazharuddin Dahri Darogha at Jarri minor, sub-division No II Nawabshah, found Arshad Jatt, Rahim Mari, Jangu Mari, Peeral Mari and Gulab Mari stealing water at water-course RD 4AL and 5AL, Nusrat barrage, Deh 6 Nusrat near Bandhi.

He reported the matter to the authorities, who booked them under Irrigation Act 61/62. A FIR has been lodged at Bandhi police station.

KIDNAPPED: A boy was kidnapped from National Highway, Sakrand, on Friday.

According to details, four persons namely Niaz, Mumtaz, Ibrahim and Dur Muhammad, belonging to Unnar caste, kidnapped Ali Guldar, 15, from Panama board stop, near National Highway, Sakrand, on gunpoint.

Muhammad Raheem Unnar, father of Ali Guldar has lodged a FIR with Sakrand police station, stating that his son has been kidnapped over a land dispute.
