ISLAMABAD, Nov 18: The Indian government will be deciding in the next ten to twelve days days if their cricket team will go ahead with its early next year’s tour to Pakistan.
The President of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Shashank Manohar stated this while talking with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman (PCB) Ijaz Butt in a telephonic conversation on Tuesday.
A PCB spokesman quoted Shashank as saying that he has written to his government for the clearance of the tour. “The BCCI is expected to get the reply in next ten to twelve days and the PCB would be informed accordingly,” the spokesman quoted Shashank as saying.
He also quoted BCCI chief as assuring that Indian cricket team will visit Pakistan as per schedule. The tour involves three Tests, five One-day Internationals and a Twenty20 International.—APP
