SIALKOT, Nov 26: The tehsil council rejected all development schemes sent by local MPAs during its session claiming that these projects (worth Rs35 million) would exploit the rights of tehsil council members.

The House unanimously passed a resolution and announced that the tehsil council would approve only those development schemes which would be presented by its members.

The resolution was passed in a special session of the tehsil council held at the TMA office which was convened by Chaudhry Abdul Latif Cheechi.

The House approved another resolution regarding the waving of the entry fee to parks. However, it allowed the contractors to charge the entry fee till the receiving of a notification by the Punjab government.
