PAL to publish books on Benazir

ISLAMABAD, Dec 5: The Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) would publish two volumes of books consisting of writings in prose and verse dedicated to Benazir Bhutto on the occasion of her first death anniversary, said a press release issued here on Friday.

Speaking at a media briefing, PAL Chairman Fakhar Zaman said that the books would be published by December 25 and would be presented to the President Asif Ali Zardari in a ceremony to be held at the Aiwan-i-Sadr. He said that in the verse section poems of poets from all Pakistani languages would be included. While in the prose section articles, columns, editorial and essays related to the slain leader to would be included. —Our Reporter
