KARACHI, Dec 16: Two ships with containers and diesel oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, another container ship also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Six ships, Maersk Carolina, Hart Wig Scan, Gemini, Liparit, Torm Emilie and Addarraq, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, project cargo, chemicals and diesel oil.

A cargo volume of 83,710 tons comprising 71,486 tons of import and 12,224 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Bow Hunter and Maersk Carolina sailed out while Torm Emilie was expected to leave the port.
