KARACHI, Dec 23: Top seeds Ali Mehdi and Monisha Kotia won men’s and women’s singles crowns in the Sindh Open badminton championships which concluded at the PSB Coaching Centre on Tuesday.
Ali overcame second seed Harrison Brent straight 21-17, 21-15 in the final to land the title while Monisha got the better of fourth seed Amna Khan 21-15, 21-10 to grab honours.
Hyderabad’s pair of Mohammad Ali and Farhan Mohib claimed the men’s doubles title when they accounted for Harrison Brent and Adnan Siddiqui 21-15, 21-18.
The women’s doubles title went to Aimen Khan and Amna Khan who handed out 21-12, 21-13 victory over Amber Ghazali and Farah Essa.
